Epic soccer experience in Madrid unites U.S. players.
A group of young players, both boys and girls, from various cities across the United States, along with their families, embarked on the ultimate soccer experience of their lives: The Firmament Experience Tour in Madrid. Our staff eagerly awaited their arrival at the airport, where the entire group gathered to head to the Opening Ceremony. The attendees listened with excitement as the detailed itinerary was explained and they received their personalized Firmament gear.
Their adventure began with cultural tours of Madrid, including visits to the iconic Gran Vía. The first training session took place at the Wanda Sports Center, a state-of-the-art professional facility. Here, they were outfitted with official Atlético de Madrid gear and trained under the club’s renowned methodology. Competing against Spanish teams, they gained invaluable experience, facing a level of play higher than they typically encounter in the U.S. This was complemented by expert coaching from UEFA Pro Coaches, an opportunity scarcely available in the United States.
Throughout their stay, the players trained at the Atlético de Madrid Foundation, seamlessly blending high-intensity training sessions with visits to Madrid’s most significant soccer landmarks. Goalkeepers received specialized training, ensuring that every player could hone their skills. Full-board accommodation, including meals and transportation, was provided, creating a comprehensive and immersive experience. Each player’s abilities were meticulously analyzed, offering insights into their technical skills.
The group also visited the Civitas Metropolitano, the Atlético Museum, and the legendary Santiago Bernabeu. A highlight of the tour was attending a thrilling La Liga match between Atlético de Madrid and RCD Mallorca. The journey concluded with a heartfelt closing ceremony, where participants were awarded diplomas in recognition of their achievements.
