At Firmament, we believe that soccer is for everyone. On this International Women’s Day, we celebrate the girls and women who step onto the pitch, break barriers, and redefine what it means to “play like a girl.” Our latest reel is a tribute to their strength, skill, and determination.

For too long, “playing like a girl” has been used as an insult. But the truth is, playing like a girl means being fast, strong, and fearless. It means playing like a champion. It means taking up space, embracing the challenge, and proving—time and time again—that soccer has no gender.

While we celebrate how far women’s soccer has come, we also recognize that there’s still a long way to go. Equal opportunities, recognition, and support for female athletes remain a challenge worldwide. That’s why we continue to amplify the voices of women in soccer, inspiring young players to dream big and play with confidence.

Today, and every day, we stand with the girls and women who are changing the game. Because soccer is soccer. And we—girls—play.
