Firmament x RFEF for inclusion. Be My Referee.

Firmament took part in the Real Federación Española de Fútbol (RFEF) Be My Referee initiative during a friendly match with CE Canyelles, as part of our Barcelona Soccer Experience for Canadian players.

The initiative, led by the RFEF, trains people with intellectual disabilities to become referees, promoting inclusion through football and creating real opportunities for personal development within the game.

For our players, sharing the field with the referees was a key part of the experience. It gave them a new perspective on the game and a deeper understanding of the people who make it possible, reinforcing values like respect, empathy and teamwork.

At Firmament, we believe football experiences should go beyond competition. Moments like this show how the game can connect people, break barriers and leave a lasting impact both on and off the field.
